Always a family business, Hugh Rice Jewellers is now run by Hugh and his brother Michael. Hugh Rice Jewellers is a member of the National Association of Goldsmiths, The Gemmological Association and Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain and The British Horological Institute.
Making A Purchase
Just browse the site and note the reference numbers of the products you wish to buy. Read the Terms and Conditions by clicking on the link at the bottom of any page of the website, then call our Customer Services team who will take your order by telephone.
We will ask for a few details before we accept your order. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta and cheque. All transactions are processed in Pounds Sterling. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom using a credit or debit card, your credit/debit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency on your credit/debit card statement.
VAT and Other Taxes
All product prices shown on the Hugh Rice Jewellers website are inclusive of United Kingdom-rated VAT (currently 17.5%) where applicable. You are responsible for the disclosure and payment of any import duties or other taxes which apply in the country to which the products are delivered.

We deliver using an insured courier service.

Our delivery charges include packaging, handling and postal costs.
Our aim is to get your orders dispatched within 14 days but please allow up to 28 days for delivery of your order. We will deliver products ordered by you to the address stated on your order form. You will not become the owner of the products until they have been delivered to you, at which time they will also become your risk and we will not be liable for any subsequent damage, loss or destruction to them.
Return of Earrings
For reasons of hygiene and public health, any jewellery which passes through the skin, including earrings, may not be returned unless they are damaged or defective. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
